Kitty Stars of the Week for July 14 - 20, 2002.
This is Persephone. She is 3 years old and very sweet. She had surgery to
remove a bad kidney two days before this picture was taken,
so she's looking a little tired, but she's gotten better. Persephone loves
tuna, catnip, snuggling on her human's bed and drinking water from the
faucet. She's also very good at catching spiders and loves to find the biggest,
hairiest ones and drop them at her person-mom's feet. Persephone's a good girl.
Persephone has three kitty-siblings. We've already met Lucy and Hemingway. Now
meet Snickers.
Snickers finally sat still so her person-mom could get her picture. Snickers is
the newest and youngest cat in
the household, and she's very, very playful. Her mom hardly ever sees her sleep.
When Snicker's mom is in bed with the other kitties at night, Snickers will come
in with
her toys and drop them by her mom's head. Her mom thinks Snickers is beautiful.
