Kitty Stars of the Week for August 11 - 17, 2002.
Meet Mistie, the runt of the litter, who's very skinny, playful,
loving and annoying! She has a sister called Pebbles who's pretty fat
as well. Mistie is about seven months old and lives in the UK.
Mistie's person writes,
"I got Mistie on my birthday. It was a surprise, and I was crying --
well, sort of, because I never knew I would get a kittie! I had asked,
but my parents said, 'NO NO NO'; so Mistie is special to me. When she
started going outside she went over our fence to the road. I started
crying because she might run away or get run over, but then she came
back. I was so relieved! But now, I don't worry so much
(she goes out all the time and is very careful). I know Mistie will
always be my special girl."

Our second kitty star is Kitty.
He writes,
"My name is Kitty and I am 2 years old. I'm not sure what I am, but
I'm sure that I'm a cat! And a good one at that. I like to play
around, with both people and animals (and some times non-living
things). I run around a lot and always find things to do. Sometimes
my mommy (Claudia) calls me her shadow because I am always following
her. But then again, I always do that to people when they are
doing something I think I can mess around with. Meow!
When we have guests over at the house I like to meet them, but only
if they make the first move, otherwise I just walk around. And I
LOVE car rides, they are the best. And sometimes my person takes me to
the park, but that just takes out all the energy out of me
(and I have a lot!)"
