Kitty Star of the Week for May 4 - 10, 2003.
This is Shadie Grinchuk whose birthday was on May 2. She's two years old now. She was
adopted from a volunteer section in a pet store in Toronto. She's adapted well to
an environment of love.
Shadie loves to play with her Tot mousey. She gets really excited when her humans play
catch the mouse. She also has a ball toy. She lies down on the floor and bats the ball
and has so much fun. She also loves it when people sit in the living room because she
hides underneath the coffee table and when she sees your feet -- she stomps on them
with her paws. It's so funny.
She eats Royal Canin cat food and she enjoys it. Shadie also enjoys having her belly
rubbed by her person-dad; when he pets her, she rolls over like a dog to expose her tummy.
Shadie will sit beside her person-mom
on the couch, and sometimes, yes, Shadie will pass wind. Her mom says, "Excuse you".
Shadie turns her head towards her mom and meows to say "Excuse me".
