"This is my beloved cat Caesar. Three years ago, we adopted him from
our local animal shelter. He was separated from his family who caught
him in a trap on a farm. Don't worry! It was a humane trap. I couldn't
believe such a handsome pedigree would be a runaway, lost, or
kicked out of his home.
"Caesar was very ill when we adopted him; he caught whipworm while in
the shelter. He was also very lost. Although he appreciated our
adopting him, he couldn't help but wonder what had happened to his
other family. He would look out the windows and cry. It was sad. I
checked the papers and called the shelter, but no one bothered to
claim him expcept us.
"Caesar's name fits him perfectly. He thinks he is royalty. He also
hates dogs -- when he sees a dog outside, he runs from room to
room, growling. It is hilarious! I feel sorry for any dog that would
get in his way.
"Caesar loves to play soccer with sponge balls and green olives. He
is my baby. I dress him in holiday scarves and he loves wearing them.
When the holiday is over, we resort to his usual rhinestone collar.
Most of our friends say they wish they could be a cat at our house!"
