Kitty Star of the Week for July 11 - 17, 2004
Mama is approximately five years young; she is a gray and black tabby.
Her caretakers started feeding her when she appeared, about ready to
have kittens. Her kittens were born; two were adopted out, one is
still around although he does not come around often, and unfortunately,
two kittens died.
Mama is a feral kitty and when possible her caretaker supports
that organization. She is sweet and personable. She is just
getting so she will let her human pick her up to the waist
without going ballistic. Her caretakers trapped her, got her
fixed with shots intact, and they think that she still has not
completely forgotten! She has been present at most of the farm's
foal's births, and she supervises their feeding and pen cleaning
every morning. Mama is dearly loved. And her favorite food is mouse
ala leche!
