Kitty Star of the Week for July 25 - 31, 2004
This week our star is Shadie, whose person-mom writes,
"Shadie's a two year old kitty. She is adopted and has a wonderful
life of adventure. Every morning she wakes up at 7. She wants to be
fed and scratched. Did I mention she talks up a storm? It's so cute!
"She knows her name name and responds with 'meow' when you say
'Shadie.' She has this mouse that is furry and grey like her.
Mind you, I bought 7 toy mice, and I can only find 1! It's this
old mouse that's falling apart, but she plays with mousey by
bringing him down the stairs, pouncing on him and throwing him around.
I have taught her to play catch with the mouse as well as to fetch
the mouse back to me. She drops it at my feet when she's done chasing.
She's like a loveable dog and she sleeps with me every night."
