Kitty Star of the Week for September 5 - 11, 2004
Stanley lives in the UK with his humans and feline "brothers", Pugwash and
Whizzie. Stanley joined his
family in 1996. He is extremely sociable and "chirrupy".

Earlier this year, Stanley began to lose weight and would sometimes throw up. His people
took him to his vet where it was discovered that he was a very fit cat, except for a tumor
growing in his stomach. The tumor had reduced the size of his stomach by 3/4's. Poor kitty!
Unfortunately, the tumor couldn't be operated on, but Stanley has been undergoing chemo
to treat it. So far he is doing well, eating plenty, and has hardly been sick at all.
