Kitty Stars of the Week for Oct. 31 - Nov. 6, 2004
Our submitter writes,
"My husband and I adopted Gandalf in November of 2003, after our Merlin kitty
passed away from FIP. Gandalf was found as a stray, already front-declawed and
between 2 and 3 years old. He was very timid at first, but with patience he
has warmed up to us a lot. He loves attention... but on his terms only...
he does NOT liked to be picked up at all! After we adopted Gandalf, we
decided he might like a companion... and there was this little orange and
white kitty that needed a home. He was rescued from the pound by a lady who
did small scale rescue in Lawrence, Kansas. Nick (my husband) and I fell in
love with him immediately. He was about 11 or 12 weeks old, and so fluffy,
playful and friendly! I named him Joey because it was a cute little name
for a cute little kitty!
"Joey is 11 pounds now, and is learning many
wrestling moves from his older, 16 lb. brother! They love to play and chase
each other around the apartment.... they also have cuddle time at least once
a day it seems. They are 2 very good boys, and we love them a lot!!"
