Kitty Stars of the Week for December 19 - 25, 2004
Our submitter writes,
"My kitties are my world and my story has some bitter sweet
elements. My children are all grown up. My son is in Iraq,
my husband as well,
and these kitties are our babies. My husband and I both are
catspoilers... :-). My daughter is in another state in college, and
we had two other adorable cats that were stolen! YES STOLEN!
It has taken us a little while to get through the healing of our
hearts so that we can give our hearts and home to others.
But we have..."
"Lynus is a 3 month old gray male with a crooked tail that looks
as though it may have even been broken. But he was born with it like
that, so in birth maybe it happened. That other classic beauty is our
youngest addition Piper, and she is 8 weeks and 1 day! She is very
high spirited and gives lots love bites after she gets off from
being sent to her room for trying to get behind the cpu. :-)
"With everyone close to me in another state or another country I
hold these 2 very dear in my heart. I have been diagnosed with Lupus
and other illnesses, and these two kitties are a great source of
healing for my pain, physical and emotional."
