Kitty Stars of the Week for March 13 - 19, 2005
This week we have 2 kitty stars. In alphabetical order, they are
Jet and Simon. They both happen to be all black kitties!
Jet's mom wrote,
"This is picture of our beautiful kitty. Jet chose us when we went
to the local RSPCA shelter. We went into the large cage she was
sitting in and she jumped onto my hubands shoulder and then walked
across and onto mine. She loves cuddles and expreses her love by
constantly rubbing against our faces. She has brought such joy -
she loves to play and will do just about anything for a 'treat'. She
just loves to bring us little presents from the woods over the way,
we have even had two hamsters (which i still feel awful about) as
presents. I do not know what we would do without her."
Simon's mom wrote,
"Below is a photo of Simon on his favorite box (yes, we keep an
empty speaker box in our living room because Simon loves to lie on
it). Simon is four years old and now weighs 22 pounds, much to the
chagrin of his vet! This is his favorite pose.....lying on his
back, spread eagle. He's a character and was adopted by my fiance
three years ago along with his brother, Sebastian. We have nicknamed
them 'The Terror Twins'. Both boys are solid black with gold eyes
and are actually sweethearts who love their human parents. Simon
lives for bedtime and comes running from wherever he is in the
house to go to bed with me and enjoy some quality time, away from
the other three fur faces we live with. Simon's favorite pastimes
are eating (could you guess?) and laying in the sunny spots around
the house. Simon walks on a leash and is the star of the neighborhood
when we go out on our summer strolls."
