Kitty Star of the Week for Jan. 29 - Feb. 4, 2006
This week our star is Pepper, who hasn't found her forever home, yet. Her foster-mom writes,
Pepper at 8 weeks, about 2 months ago
"My daughter moved out on her own and got Pepper, then had to move back home temporarily,
so brought the kitten and asked me to care for her. My daughter will be moving to an
apartment where cats aren't allowed, so it looks like this kitty will be looking for
another forever home. Of course, my daughter hopes I will fall in love with Pepper and
keep her, but we already have 8 cats. Of the 8 cats, 6 were brought here by my daughter
and her friends and "donated" to me for various reasons. Then another was brought here
by another daughter and also "donated" to me. There is only one cat I actually went out
and got myself from the Humane Society. Little Pepper is so very sweet and well behaved,
with a loud purr and a real love of cuddling. She is going to make someone a wonderful
pet and a true lap cat. And if I don't get her out of here soon, I fear that person
could be me! I am a real sucker for cats in need of a good home!"
Update! Pepper's foster-mom's daughter will be moving to a farm and is going to
take Pepper. So Pepper will soon be living on a great 120 acre farm!
