Kitty Star of the Week for December 12 - 18, 1999.
Mr. BoJangles is the most affectionate 7 year old cat. He sits on his
person-dad Fred's lap during the day, sleeping on top of his human sisters
Mindy or Dawn's head or his person-mom Valerie's lap at
night. It's funny he'll be cleaning himself and he'll start licking the girls'
head as if to clean their hair too. Valerie wakes up in the middle of the night
and he's curled up in her lap especially if it's cold.
When Serina (another Maine Coon) joined the family,
they both seem to know that they had some kind of connection, he took care
of her as if he was her dad.
Maine Coons chirp and it's so neat to hear
him chirping down the hall late at night. He loves to be near a human and
watches whatever your working on, especially when Fred is on the computer,
he jumps up rubs his head against him and walks on the keyboard. Most of the
cats run and hide if someone visits, but not Mr. Bo Jangles, he goes right up
to them and chirps and rubs against their legs.
