Kitty Star of the Week for January 9 - 15, 2000.
Gus, or more formally, Augusta Firefly, is an 8 month old tabby. She
loves to hug, sleep in her basket
(Keith doesn't believe it),
help people type at the computer, and distract them from reading.
Her mother says, "When I come home she waits
for me behind the door and then pounces on me, her special welcome home
greeting. She loves to cuddle. At night she knows it is time to go to
sleep so she jumps into her basket and that is where she sleeps until it
is time to get up. If you don't wake up in the morning when she wants you
to she will sit on you and stare at you until you do. She loves to
terrorize trees and house plants.
Why do I like her? I don't like her, I love her. She is like having a dog
and a cat in one. All in all she is a wonderful cat and I love her to
pieces."
