Kitty Star of the Week for July 16 - 22, 2000.
This week, the Kitty Star is Ekaterina, a Russian Blue born in April,
1999. Ekaterina was born at the Katzenburg Cattery in Washington State,
USA. Her mother is Ch. (Champion) Wynterwynd Larissa of Katzenburg
and her father is GC (Grand Champion) Bluegenes Grisha of Katzenburg.
Ekaterina currently lives in Idaho with five other cats and her two
humans. She's the youngest kitty and gets along well with her elders.
This photo, taken by Kathi Head, is of Ekaterina when she
was about 7 months old, relaxing with one of her Beanie Babies,
after some serious playing on the computer monitor. You can see
her rich grey coat and green eyes -- hallmarks of the Russian Blue.

Ekaterina loves snoozing in warm spots, seeing what's happening
outside, being photographed, playing, eating, and causing a little
mischief!
